Billionaire Taylor Swift Called Out as Phony After Leading Crowd in ‘F**k the Patriarchy’ Lyric Chant

Billionaire Taylor Swift has been in the headlines for months after social media videos showed the pop sensation leading a sold-out crowd at the Erast Tour singing the lyrics “Fuck the patriarchy” from her song “All Too Well.” Now, Swift is being called out by critics as a fake.

The debate was reignited Sunday night at Wembley Stadium in London, England, with some in the audience questioning how she could claim to oppose her critics and their own self-indulgence, yet disparage the men and the “patriarchy” that have supported her global success and private jet travel from concert to concert.

The song “All Too Well,” from her fourth studio album, Red, includes the lyrics, “You told me about your past, you thought I was your future, then you threw me your car keys and your ‘Fuck the Patriarchy’ key chain to the ground.”

of Daily Mail Reports The song is a popular staple in her live sets, but the 34-year-old drew mixed reactions after getting 88,000 mostly female fans at Wembley Stadium to scream out the song’s final lyrics in an apparent act of rebellion.

Many critics used clips from her Liverpool show to underscore their criticism.

Joined X, previously twitterafter pointing out that it was likely men who constructed the set to enable her social criticism, some in the audience were less than impressed with their dismay.

Another questioned how someone who has benefited financially from the support of both men and women could be so bold.

Others soon followed suit.

So, here’s another: “I’ve seen so many cute videos of dads bringing their daughters to Taylor Swift concerts, and they’re bonding, I get that. But after seeing this, I don’t get it.” [sic]

“I love it when spoiled billionaires act like they’re one of us and not part of the system. So cute,” a third said.

A fourth joked: “Few people have benefited from a non-existent patriarchy more than Taylor Swift.”

“The irony is so strong it’s like trying to swim in a vat of molasses blindfolded,” wrote another.
