Billy Horschel apologized for the incorrect shot in a very unusual way on Thursday.
In the first round of RBC Heritage at Harbortown Golf Link in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; I dumped the fan on my legs on a drive On par 4 hole 10.
Instead of typical souvenirs and signs, the injured audience had better ideas.
The woman signed Hoschel’s swollen legs when he retrieved dozens of fans surrounding them and his illicit hit balls.
The photographer on the scene caught the injured audience, and it turned out to be a pretty hit.
Horschel later gave the woman a hug before being able to hit a second shot towards the green in the first hole in Harbortown’s back nine.
Horschel continued shooting 72, putting him in the tie in 52nd place one round.
