Billy Ray Cyrus has responded to shocking audio that has surfaced in which he disparages his soon-to-be ex-wife Firerose and even makes derogatory comments about some of their children.
Fox News Digital has obtained shocking audio of a conversation between Miley Cyrus and her estranged wife in which the country singer can be heard berating her Australian ex-wife and using foul language.
Shortly after the audio was released, the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer spoke about the recording and confirmed it was hers.

“Oh man, I was lost. As the days went by I began to realize something was wrong. This was before I even knew she was a cheater. I knew something was wrong. This was before I even knew she was David Hodges’ ex-wife,” he said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“This was before I even knew her parents’ last names. I had no idea she had been arrested for felony burglary. I learned right in front of my eyes that everything I thought I knew about her was a lie. She was trying to take over my career, my life and steal the Cyrus name for her own gain.”
“See you in court,” he concluded his statement, which he also posted to his Instagram Story.

In the recording, the former couple can be heard arguing about heading to what appears to be a Cyrus concert.
“It’s 9:15, idiot. We were supposed to leave two hours ago,” Silas said.
“No, you’re not. We can still leave and make it in time,” Fire Rose suggested.

“Get outta here. I’m not… I’m not in a position to go perform. When I was ready to go, I had to go,” Cyrus continued. “I wish you could get outta here.”
“Stop yelling at me,” Fire Rose said before Silas could yell again.

“I wish you had left me alone when I told you. I’m done. Now I’m really pissed. You’ve once again shown that you won’t listen to me. I don’t know who you think you are, but you won’t listen. I’ve changed my mind on that one. You’re a really self-centered fucking bitch,” he can be heard shouting.
“Fine,” Silas continued, “That’s who you are. You selfish motherfucker. You go trample on me and expect me to do your stupid thing in public. Do this shit wherever you want, in front of whoever you want.”

“You’re screaming at me right now?” Fire Rose retorted.
“If you’d kept your mouth shut this wouldn’t have happened. Look at what a jerk you were. What a stupid thing to do. Such a stupid thing to do. You should know I don’t stand for that kind of bullshit. You just did it,” Cyrus said.
Firerose then told her husband she wanted him to be happy, but the exchange of verbal abuse continued and the conversation ended.
“That’s you. You selfish little shit. You can’t keep trampling on me and expecting me to do your stupid shit in public and make you do this shit wherever you want, in front of whoever you want.”

Sources told Fox News Digital that the audio that has surfaced has been edited. They claim it is a series of edited conversations between the former couple. The sources said the conversation, which was allegedly recorded and edited, took place on the night of a Nicki Minaj concert, where Firerose was allegedly jealous and did not want Cyrus to perform with the singer.
Sources say that Cyrus had locked himself in a shed and Fire Rose broke in, sparking a heated conversation.
Cyrus and Firerose originally married in October 2023. The following May, Cyrus filed for an annulment, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “improper marital conduct,” according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
Since then, the couple has been engaged in a fierce online feud.

In another audio clip obtained by Fox News Digital, Cyrus speaks about herself in the third person, addressing her children, two of whom she adopted, with ex-wife Tish Cyrus.
“The other two kids on there are from a previous marriage before she met Billy Ray. They have different fathers. No, wait, that’s wrong. Not from a previous marriage. The other two kids on there are from her getting pregnant by two other men and before she met Billy Ray,” he said, referring to Tracy and Brandi Cyrus.

“If it says that, think about it. I mean, it’s true Noah, Brandi and Trace. And we all know the devil is lewd.”
While Cyrus was reportedly talking about his daughter, Miley Cyrus, the same source insisted to Fox News Digital that his “everyone knows the devil is a pervert” comment had nothing to do with the “Wrecking Ball” singer.

Relations between Cyrus and some of his children, including Miley, have reportedly been strained for some time. In a conversation with David Letterman that first aired last month, Miley said that she inherited her narcissism from her father.
