Billy Ray Cyrus has taken a trip down memory lane, sharing his “best” memories with daughter Miley Cyrus amid ongoing rumors of a family feud.
Early Friday morning, Billy Ray shared a photo of himself holding a baby Miley at the CMA Fan Fest. Someone took the photo during the event and attached it to the country music singer’s post. Billy Ray wrote a poem to accompany the photo that day.
“One of the best memories of my life is @cma fest back when it was Fan Fair,” he began the caption. “This is @mileycyrus and I at the venue surrounded by thousands of amazing fans. Someone gave me this photo the next day and I wrote this poem right there on the bus.”

Back in the present, Billy Ray celebrated his daughter’s success with her Grammy win.

Rumors of a rift between Miley and Billy Ray have been circulating in the media for months. Noah Cyrus is Tish Cyrus’ She is due to marry Dominic Purcell in August 2023.
Noah and Braison were notably absent from their mother’s wedding at the end of the summer. The siblings reportedly spent their mother’s wedding day together, posting a now-deleted Instagram Story that showed Noah heading out to Walmart in a Billy Ray shirt.
Meanwhile, Miley served as her mother’s bridesmaid for the big moment, escorting Tish down the aisle at her Malibu wedding, which was also attended by Brandy and Trace.

“My whole life, my mom has been a behind-the-scenes support,” Miley told Vogue magazine. “It was her getting me ready for my big day, starting with cheerleading competitions and eventually being on set and backstage before the show. She never stopped celebrating me and was very supportive of my decisions. Now that I’m an adult, I feel honored to have been that person for her.”

“It’s so moving for me to see my mother so happy and in love,” she added. “Dom and my mother share the sweetest, purest love. It’s like they’re doing it for the first time and it’s so fitting for such a young soul like my mother. Since they met, they’ve both started to age in reverse. Somehow, my mother has only become more beautiful. The day was as special and magical as they were. Standing beside my mother and handing her over to Dom is a moment I will cherish forever.”

Rumors of a rift between Miley and Billy Ray have been stoked since the “Party in the USA” hitmaker first Grammy Awards. Miley won two awards in February: Best Solo Pop Performance and Record of the Year.
After winning the Grammy for Record of the Year for her hit “Flowers,” Miley famously snubbed her father in her acceptance speech.

Miley thanked her team, Columbia Records, her mother Brandy and her boyfriend Max Molland. Her father, Noah, Trace and Braison. Miley especially wanted to thank the crowd, telling them, “My team, my team, Crush, Columbia, my mom, my sister, my love, my ‘main gay,’ ‘look how good I look. Who else? Your wife, your fiancé, all the people that we love. Thank you so much.”

“I don’t think I forgot anyone,” she finished, before adding, “But maybe I forgot my underwear. See you!”
Billy Ray did not publicly congratulate his daughter on her Grammy win, but he did post a comment on Instagram a few days after the ceremony that some fans interpreted as an allusion to the rumored feud.
