A New Jersey lawmaker called the government's investigation into recent drone sightings across the northeastern United States “unbelievable.”
State Rep. Paul Kanitra appeared on “Fox News @ Night” Thursday to discuss bipartisan outrage over the government's response to drone sightings.
“We are a polarized society, but when we were at The Rock, a security facility in New Jersey, there were 100 state legislators from across the political spectrum in the Senate and House of Representatives. “I'm just as angry about this situation,” Kanitra said.

The first sighting of the drone occurred in New Jersey on November 18, the Federal Aviation Administration said earlier this month, and the agency issued two temporary flight restrictions.
Kanitra said during an informational briefing for state lawmakers Wednesday that he has learned there have been confirmed drone sightings “every night since.”
In a Facebook post, Kanitra said during the briefing he implored the Department of Homeland Security to “take swift and decisive action” against drones, calling the situation “frustrating.”

The White House said Thursday that the investigation is in its early stages, but so far no malicious intent, criminal intent or threat to national security has been revealed.

Kanitra took the photo from a distance with what appeared to be a drone over the New Jersey sky Thursday night.

“These are not hobbyist drones,” he said, adding that the military should have the technology needed to take high-quality photos.
