The phone keeps ringing.

The paranormal horror film “Black Phone 2” has climbed back to the top spot this Halloween, raking in an unsettling $2.39 million, as noted by The Numbers.

Ethan Hawke is back in his role as the serial killer known as “The Glover.” The film originally opened at No. 1 two weeks ago but dipped to No. 3 last Friday.

Hawke mentioned to USA Today that “Last Halloween, there were probably about 15 people who came to my house trick-or-treating dressed as Glovers.”

In the latest box office results, “Bugonia” achieved second place with takings of $1.81 million.

This sci-fi black comedy features two conspiracy theorists who abduct a CEO, played by Emma Stone, thinking he’s an alien intent on ending Earth’s existence.

The Post described the movie as “a funny, funny, disgusting, smelly thriller about the deadly cocktail of loneliness and web browsing,” praising Stone’s performance as “predictably great.”

Stone even shaved her head for the role and shared her feelings about it, noting, “I’ve known for a year and a half that I was going to shave my head, but when the day came… I started to panic a little bit about it.”

Meanwhile, “Back to the Future” made its return to theaters for its 40th anniversary, landing in third place with $1.56 million.

Michael J. Fox reflected on the film’s continuing relevance, stating to Empire, “We live in a bully culture now. Bullies are everywhere… In this movie, Biff is the bully. Time is the bully. For me personally, Parkinson’s disease is the bully.” He emphasized that confronting these challenges is key, suggesting many resonate with the film because it addresses themes they relate to in their own lives.

“Chainsawman the Movie: Rese Edition” opened at No. 1 last Friday but has now slipped to fourth place, earning $1.3 million.

Rounding out the top five is the romantic drama “Regretting You,” which fell three spots to collect $1.21 million.
