Blake Lively isn’t affected by gossip.
The “It Ends With Us” actress, 36, responded to comments made about the current state of her marriage to Ryan Reynolds.
After Lively Instagram shared On Monday, in support of her husband’s new film, “Deadpool & Wolverine,” one commenter claimed there were “rumors” that the couple was getting a divorce after more than 11 years of marriage.
“You and Ryan should post more about each other. There were rumors going around that you two were getting divorced but I never believed it because you two are just the perfect couple,” a commenter wrote.
Lively cheekily replied: “Haha they hope so 😂.”
The post featured a photo of Lively and Reynolds, 47, kissing on the set of his new Marvel movie.
The next slide included a video of Lively saying, “Deadpool is married to a millennial girl in real life,” followed by clips of millennial references in movies, including Avril Lavigne, “Harry Potter,” “Frozen,” Celine Dion, *N Sync, “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” My Little Pony, summer balayage hairstyles, and Judy Blume.
“I’ve never felt so noticed,” Lively said.
Her caption reads, “Gossip Girl” Alumni She noted that she and other millennial women “inspired” Deadpool 3.
“I’ve never been more proud. I’ve given birth four times,” she wrote.
Lively and Reynolds met on the set of another superhero movie, 2011’s Green Lantern.
They got married in September 2012. I have four children.
The name of the couple’s fourth childReynolds announced baby Orin, due in February 2023, at the “Deadpool” premiere in New York City on Monday.
“First, I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is here with us,” Reynolds said onstage, “and my children, James, Inez, Betty and Orrin, who are here with us.”
“With any luck, this moment will be the most traumatic event to happen in your amazing life, just like what’s in this movie,” he hilariously added.
In a recent interview E! News, Reynolds joked about having more children with Lively.
“Number five…I don’t know,” he said. “My kids are sitting over there. We have to be extra careful here, you know? Oh, there’s a little wave over there.”
He continued, “The more the merrier. As many little beats as possible, just running around and smashing things in the house. I love it. Let’s do more!”
Earlier this year, Lively revealed that the couple laid out some ground rules when they started dating over 10 years ago.
“When Ryan and I started dating, we made a rule that we wouldn’t work at the same times,” she told her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star Amber Tamblyn on her Substack show. “Another prelude.”
“It’s so that we can always prioritise our personal lives,” she added.
“Deadpool & Wolverine” hits theaters on Friday.
