Left-handed pitcher Blake Snell has reached a contract with the Dodgers.
The former Giants starter agreed to a five-year, $182 million contract Tuesday night. Confirmed by Jon Heyman of the Post..
The contract is pending a physical and Snell will receive a $52 million signing bonus. According to Heyman.
His contract with the Dodgers includes “some” deferred money. The Athletic reported.
The Dodgers' rotation will include a presumably healthy Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, Clayton Kershaw, Dustin May, Tony Gonsolin, and Bobby Miller, plus left-handers, and Los Angeles will have left-handers like Loki Sasaki. Heyman reported that he is the leading candidate to acquire the company.
It is believed that one of the teams the Dodgers beat because of Snell's performance was the Red Sox.
The former Cy Young Award winner is coming off a season in which he started 20 games for San Francisco and posted a 5-3 record with a 3.12 ERA.
Snell pitched 104 innings and struck out 145 batters, managing to turn things around in the second half of a season slowed by injuries.

The left-handed pitcher has started six games for the Giants since the beginning of July, posting an ERA of 9.51.
He returned from IL duty in early July and posted a 1.23 ERA in the final 14 starts of the season.
Snell entered the offseason as one of the top free agent players on the market.
