Michael Jackson’s son Blanket has filed a court filing asking his grandmother Katherine to be prevented from using his father’s estate to fund an appeal against a previous judgment.
Blunkett and Catherine previously worked together to stop the executors of the Jackson estate from proceeding with large transactions.They reportedly opposed the deal. TMZ. They argued their case in court, but the court ultimately ruled against them, leaving the other party free to proceed with the deal. According to TMZ, Katherine now wants to use funds from her foundation to fund her appeal, but Blunkett has taken legal action to prevent her from accessing the funds.

Blanket and Catherine no longer see eye to eye on this issue. Catherine reportedly feels the need to do everything possible to stop the deal, but Blunkett says she doesn’t think it’s worth fighting for. According to TMZ, court documents state that Blunkett does not believe there is a high chance that the appeal will be successful and does not believe it is in the best interests of the beneficiaries to continue to pay for the legal battle. TMZ reported that it was shown.
As the heir to Michael Jackson’s estate, Blunkett will be responsible for looking after the estate’s finances to ensure it is used responsibly.
According to TMZ, Blunkett’s petition to the court asks the court to use its best judgment to award Katherine reasonable legal costs from the pre-appeal portion of the legal battle, but the funds must be used carefully. They are also asking for an evaluation.

A judge has not yet ruled on Ms. Blunkett’s request to prevent her father’s estate from continuing to fund Ms. Catherine’s appeal.
