An explosion rocked Palm Springs, California, on Saturday, leaving destruction in its wake along North India Canyon Drive. Reports on social media show nearby businesses with shattered glass and damaged exteriors.
The city confirmed the blast occurred just before noon near East Tacheva Drive. Emergency services, including the Palm Springs Police Department and firefighters, quickly arrived on the scene, urging residents to evacuate as they addressed the incident.
According to the Palm Springs Police Department’s Active Call Log, emergency medical services responded to multiple calls in the vicinity of N Palm Canyon Drive shortly before 11 a.m. Local police records also noted various responses to a robbery in the area.
