A massive fire burning hundreds of acres has engulfed the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles, forcing evacuations from the area.
NBC News Los Angeles reported The morning wildfire has spread to more than 200 acres, growing exponentially from the 2 acres it was reported to have started from, officials said. Breitbart News Senior Editor Joel Pollack documented the fire as the area was evacuated.

According to LAFD, the call came in around 10:30 a.m. near the 1100 block of North Piedra Morada Drive. Homes are threatened and some may already be on fire.
Traffic was backed up on nearby Pacific Coast Highway.
At 2:50 p.m. ET, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) urged residents to heed evacuation warnings.
“Firefighters are now proactively and aggressively responding to disasters. #palisadesfire With the support of our community partners,” she wrote.
“Angeleno residents in the area are asked to heed evacuation warnings and follow instructions from public safety officials,” she added.
