In the past, Scott Jennings was not the focus of a heated debate over “CNN Newsnight.” Given what happened with Wednesday's edition, it's a fair bet that he had no problem with it.
This time the fighter was left CNN political commentator Anna Navarro – we also know as the far left co-host of “The View” – and conservative critic Shermichael Singleton.
“Because you're defending for black people. Congratulations. The last time I checked, I'm black. Not you.'
The topic was President Donald Trump's deportation policy, but the debate quickly turned into a bitter, fiery racial debate between Navarro and Singleton, who frequently cried out at each other.
Anchor Abby Phillip tried to waste things restrained, but Jennings and others around the table left. However, after continuing the fireworks, Philip is forced to cut into a commercial as the battle of words between the two became enraged.

Navarro: Do you know who was illegally here before the deportation order? Marco Rubio's grandfather.
Singleton: I'm not talking about Marco Rubio.
Navarro: Oh, isn't we? So, does that have nothing to do with it?
Singleton: No relation. It has nothing to do with this conversation.
Navarro: No, I'm talking about Marco Rubio, as Marco Rubio was a former advocate. [Temporary Protected Status] For Venezuelans and Marco Rubio, he was previously a defender of the Nicaraguans and Cubans.
Singleton: Well, I'm not Marco Rubio –
Navarro: No, I know you're not.
Singleton: – And tell me what I believe. If you come to this country illegally, you will go home. It's that easy. This country does not have unlimited resources to care for others.
Navarro: There are many non-black people who were brought here as slaves who came illegally to this country.
Singleton: They are not the same black people brought here against our will. [Illegal immigrants] I decided to walk their butts across the border. There is a big difference. There's a big difference! There's a big difference, Ana!
Navarro: That's exactly what I said. I said there are a lot of people other than black people! That's exactly what I said! That's exactly what I said, Shahmichael! [You] I'll look, go in and act!
Singleton: It's not about the behavior that you did.
Navarro: Yes, that's right!
Singleton: You act as if you have a moral highlands here.
Navarro: I've heard people say that there are many people who have come here illegally, other than black people who have come as slaves!
Philip: I think you misunderstood what she said.
Singleton: I understand. Understood.
Navarro: No, he purposely misunderstood that!
Singleton: Did I intentionally misunderstand that?
Navarro: Yes, you did!
Singleton: Are you in my brain now? Is that where we go?
Navarro: You think [that] I've been advocating for black people, would I say that in my life? Have a damn break!
Singleton: You're advocating for black people, so great. Congratulations. The last time I checked, I was black. you're not.
Navarro: That's right! I'm Latino and my people are racially profiled!
Singleton: Should I remember you the history of my people? Do you want to go there? Do you really want to go to moral highlands? are you kidding me are you kidding me
