The outcome of the Republican primary in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District remains unclear. Unofficial Results So far, state Sen. John Maguire, who is endorsed by President Trump, is leading incumbent Rep. Bob Good by more than 300 votes.

I ask for full transparency from the authorities and patience from the people of the 5th District in the coming weeks until the certification of the results is complete. Former President Donald Trump, a potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate, has endorsed Maguire, calling his “good” a “bad” for the state and the nation.
