Bobsledder shares how OnlyFans supported her Olympic aspirations

German bobsledder Lisa Buckwitz is gearing up to compete in the upcoming Olympics, attributing part of her preparation to her involvement with OnlyFans.

In a recent interview, the 2018 Olympic gold medalist explained how the subscription service has helped fund her journey to the 2026 Winter Olympics, set to kick off next month in Italy.

“It’s a stroke of luck that I can also contribute to my team,” Buckwitz mentioned to Bild, expressing that this opportunity has been incredibly beneficial for her.

Buckwitz announced her role as an OnlyFans athlete back in November 2024. She provides various subscription options on her page, priced at $59.98 for three months, $97.46 for six months, and $194.92 for a year.

On Instagram, she shared that this collaboration is about revealing the passion and dedication behind her bobsled journey. “From tough training sessions to the highs of race day, I welcome you to see what it takes to push boundaries at the top level,” she stated.

Despite the success of her OnlyFans account, Buckwitz, who is 31, admitted that securing funding has been tough.

“It’s a bit disheartening that I can’t devote myself fully to competing,” she reflected. “Yes, I’ve won an Olympic medal, but people aren’t exactly curious about Lisa Buckwitz solely because of that. That’s just one of the challenges.”

Buckwitz shared with Bild that the costs for a bobsled season can exceed $59,000 (or about 50,000 euros), factoring in expenses such as travel, gear, training facilities, and bonuses for her teammates.

A former Playboy Germany cover model, Buckwitz claimed gold in her Olympic debut during the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang. However, at the 2022 Beijing Games, she fell just short, finishing in fourth place in her event.
