Local reports say a small plane crashed in southeast Florida on Friday morning.
The plane, believed to be a Cessna 310 aircraft, descended near Boca Raton Airport around 10:15am local time. Boca News Now.
The plane reported mechanical issues with approaching the airport, the outlet reported.

Boca Button police confirmed that the aircraft had crashed, but did not provide further details.

Police have closed the N. Military Trail between NW 19th St. and Butts Rd. Glades Rd's I-95 overpass. They are also closed eastbound and westbound.
Police advised the public to avoid the area.
