Authorities recovered the bodies of two dogs believed to belong to an Oregon woman who was found murdered after being missing for a week.
Susan “Phoenix” Lane Fournier, 61, and her two Malinois-Malinois mixes were reported missing on Nov. 22. Authorities charged her husband, Michel Fournier, 71, with second-degree murder after her body was found next to her. Highway last Friday.

But on Saturday, the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office recovered two dead dogs in the Mount Hood National Forest, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
The body has since been transported to CCSO, where investigators are working to determine the dog's exact identity.
Lane Fournier disappeared from what was initially thought to be a hike with her dog in the Mount Hood National Forest. The next day, when she didn't show up for work, her friend reported her missing. A friend also found her truck near the woods on November 23rd.
Her death was later ruled a homicide. Lane-Fournier filed for divorce on October 31, claiming that “irreconcilable differences between the parties have caused an irreparable breakdown in their marital relationship.''
Although the couple was still legally married at the time of her death, neighbors were not surprised to hear of marital problems.

“They expected it. A lot of people were talking about domestic violence,” neighbor Betty Swan DeLong told KGW8.
Authorities initially called off the search for the dog on Nov. 26.
