Body of 15-year-old girl found floating in NYC bay: cops

Police say the body of a 15-year-old girl was found in a bay near Sunset Park in Brooklyn on Sunday morning.

The girl, identified by police as Nancy Jenn, was pulled from the water by divers about 8:30 a.m. in the northwest corner of Bush Terminal Park.

A police source told The Post that no foul play is suspected.

Officials said Zheng’s family reported her missing around 8 p.m. the previous night from their home, a few blocks south of the park on 55th Street.

According to police sources, Zheng’s family told police that he wanted to harm himself and had been suicidal.

Photos from the scene showed divers swimming to free the girl’s body and carrying it to shore.

Investigators have roped off the perimeter while they investigate.

A police spokesman said the coroner would determine the cause of the girl’s death.
