Ronnie Coleman, the iconic bodybuilder with eight Olympia titles to his name, was hospitalized over the weekend. His family shared this news through a statement posted on his Facebook page.
“We would like to inform Ronnie’s fans, supporters, and the bodybuilding community that Ronnie Coleman was admitted to the hospital due to a serious condition this Sunday morning,” the statement read. “He is currently receiving professional medical care and continues to show incredible strength and resilience.”
They emphasized that their current focus is on Coleman’s recovery and well-being. They also asked for understanding during this challenging time, requesting privacy to avoid speculation.
Coleman had alerted fans about his health issues earlier, describing a “medical emergency” that forced him to cancel events in the UK. Despite the serious nature of his situation, he reassured his followers not to worry, declaring, “I have great hands.”
His family expressed hope, stating, “Ronnie has always inspired the world with his toughness and heart. We know that he feels that love and energy are being sent down his path.”
