On Friday, former White House National Security Adviser John Bolton entered a not guilty plea regarding 18 charges linked to the mishandling of classified information. This occurred after he surrendered to federal authorities in Maryland.

During the arraignment, U.S. Magistrate Judge Timothy Sullivan went over the charges, explaining the potential consequences, which could reach up to ten years in prison and fines of $250,000 per charge. To this, Bolton responded, “I do, my honor.” His plea took place in federal court located in Greenbelt, Maryland.
