Bon Iver Performs at Wisconsin Rally

Kamala Harris is turning to pop stars to do the heavy lifting in drawing voters to rallies in battleground states, tapping them for free concerts that will serve as crowd-pullers to create the illusion of a grassroots political movement.

Last week in Georgia, “Wet Ass Pussy” rapper Megan Thee Stallion delivered her typically raunchy performance, and this week, Grammy-winning indie band Bon Iver appeared at a Kamala rally in the group’s hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on Wednesday.

On Wednesday afternoon, a video went viral showing a rally venue that the Harris campaign described as “packed.”

Bon Iver, likely hired to get blue-haired hipsters to put down their e-cigarettes and head to the polls on Election Day, shared the stage with Kamala Harris as part of a campaign to win Wisconsin, where former President Donald Trump was trailing Joe Biden by 6 points just before the Democratic National Committee made an unprecedented move to field its own candidate.

Kamala suddenly assumed the office as the party elite’s favorite without winning a single primary vote, but new polls show Trump virtually tied, thanks in large part to Kamala’s full endorsement by the mainstream news media.

The battle for Wisconsin led to an embarrassing moment for Kamala earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance approached Harris on Air Force Two, sparking a tense standoff as the current and presumably next vice president occupied the same runway in Wisconsin.

“I thought the reporters traveling with her might be a little lonely since Kamala wasn’t answering their questions so I thought I’d pop in to say hello and take a look at her new plane,” Vance later wrote on social media.
