Bongino Claims His Time in DC Provides Abundant New Content for His Show

Dan Bongino Teases Upcoming Show After Leaving FBI

Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino shared on Wednesday that his experience in Washington, D.C., has equipped him with ample content for his upcoming show. Nominated by Director Kash Patel, Bongino became FBI deputy director in February but announced in December his departure from the agency this month.

In an appearance on “Nightly Scroll w/ Hayley Caronia,” he hinted that his time in politics has resulted in a wealth of notes—enough for an extended broadcast. “We took so many notes. Of course, I can’t disclose any confidential information,” Bongino mentioned. “But there’s plenty we can discuss, providing context and clearing up a lot of misconceptions out there.” He described D.C. as an extravagant place, indicating that there’s much to unravel that could surprise many.

As for when he returns to the airwaves, Bongino expressed confidence about delivering a jam-packed first show, cautioning that it could run longer than usual due to the backlog of material. “We could go on forever with this content. The first show is set for two hours, from 10 a.m. to noon,” he said, emphasizing his activist nature while reassuring listeners that he won’t just focus on FBI stories.

He also indicated that his broadcast style will shift towards a more relaxed tone with sharper political commentary. Bongino reminisced about missed opportunities to address significant issues, such as the government shutdown, expressing disbelief at the circumstances surrounding it. “It was frustrating not being able to address the government shutdown over Obamacare,” he commented, pointing fingers at Democrats and their handling of the topic.

Before ascending to a prominent role in media, Bongino worked as a police officer in New York City, later serving in the U.S. Secret Service for over a decade. He gained fame in conservative circles through his weekend show on Fox News and an extensive podcast following.
