FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino recently shared a message on his official X account regarding some unsettling discoveries related to government corruption and its misuse of power. He expressed that these findings shocked him profoundly.
Bongino’s post, made on Saturday, didn’t go into specific details about what he found, but he mentioned that an investigation is underway, following standard protocols.
“In my time as deputy director of the FBI, I’ve witnessed occurrences that may not be immediately evident but are definitely happening,” Bongino stated. “The insights I’ve gained during necessary investigations into these issues have genuinely shaken me. Running a republic under such conditions is unmanageable.
“Our aim is to pursue justice through proper and lawful investigations,” he added. “We will strive to uncover the answers we all deserve. I can’t predict the outcome, but I assure you of a sincere and respectful pursuit of the truth—not some subjective version of it, but the actual truth.”
He did not specify when the public could expect to learn more about the issues he referenced.
In a follow-up tweet, Bongino reiterated his commitment to addressing public corruption and abuse of political power during his tenure.
