FIFA World Cup Excitement in Inglewood

The energy of the FIFA World Cup has taken over Inglewood, California.

A wave of Bosnian soccer supporters was spotted parading through the streets just before Bosnia faced off against Switzerland in a Group B match at Los Angeles Stadium.

The Bosnian contingent is the latest group to add to the World Cup celebrations happening all over the country this summer.

A gathering of fans proudly waved the national flag and chanted “Bosnia” with the rhythmic beat of drums and handclaps echoing around them.

Videos shared online captured this spirited group making their way to the stadium, clearly enjoying the moment.

As the match kicked off, both Bosnian and Swiss fans filled Los Angeles Stadium, which, for the tournament, was temporarily dubbed SoFi Stadium.

The Bosnian fans really shone during the game, occupying various sections and enthusiastically singing and waving yellow flags, creating a lively atmosphere.

Their presence was unmistakable during the World Cup; the Bosnians, alongside other Balkan fans, had previously made their mark in Toronto, where they celebrated before a match against Canada.

Earlier in the week, fans from South Korea had made their own waves, taking over Little Tokyo for a viewing party while watching their team play against South Africa.

Though Thursday marked the first appearance of Bosnian fans in the streets of Los Angeles, it certainly wasn’t the first time the city felt the World Cup buzz.
