Boyle: 'A Positive Result for the U.S. Is a Positive Result for the Civilized World'

Boyle Discusses America’s Global Role

In a recent chat with Right2theBone and the Greek Conservative Network, Matthew Boyle, the Washington bureau chief for Breitbart News, emphasized that a favorable outcome for the U.S. translates to benefits for the entire civilized world.

Boyle highlighted President Trump’s “America First” approach, urging that there should be clarity among media and politicians regarding Trump’s commitment to his policies both domestically and internationally, especially following his decisive win in the 2024 election.

“The key question is whether our allies stand by us,” Boyle remarked about the global allies. He noted some complaints from them but acknowledged the exceptional support from his Greek friends.

He explained that Greece had increased its GDP state spending to 5% before exerting pressure, stating, “They have been allies from the outset. Our esteemed prime minister has been supportive regarding tariffs, openly backing President Trump in interviews long before others.” He recalled how this prime minister was one of the first leaders to defend Trump, asserting that the issues raised were overstated and that the U.S. and EU would reach a trade agreement, which indeed happened.

Boyle insisted that critics were incorrect in their reactions and related it back to the National Security Strategy, which has surprised some lately.

“Yes, the National Security Strategy is consistent. We’ve seen this cycle repeatedly. People panic about President Trump, and then they come back to realize that he is serious, ultimately leading to positive outcomes for the U.S.,” he mentioned.

He reiterated, “Any success for the United States is beneficial for the civilized world,” highlighting that these successes resonate with those who value freedom.

Boyle reflected on America’s democratic roots, celebrating the 250th anniversary of Independence Day this year. “Our founding fathers looked to Athens for wisdom… Thus, those who cherish our way of life over authoritarian regimes should support America wholeheartedly,” he declared.

He added that this support is crucial whether it pertains to conflicts with Iran, trade disputes, or challenges with China.
