Brad Pitt and George Clooney share the screen for the first time since ‘Burn After Reading’ for new action comedy ‘Wolfs’

Brad Pitt and George Clooney will reunite on screen for the first time in 16 years in the new film “Wolves.”

In the film, Pitt and Clooney play fixers hired to cover up a crime, and the two find themselves reluctantly teaming up on the same assignment.

The first full trailer for the film was released on May 29. It stars Austin Abrams, Amy Ryan, and Poorna Jagannathan.

The trailer begins with Clooney being called into duty and cleaning up a crime scene, saying, “There’s no one who can do what I do.”

When Pitt comes on board, his character will apparently be able to do the same as Clooney’s character, considering the two have the same job.

“Wolves” marks the first time Pitt and Clooney have worked together since 2008’s “Burn After Reading,” after previously appearing together in the hit casino heists “Ocean’s Eleven,” “Ocean’s Twelve” and “Ocean’s Thirteen.”

“Wolves” marks the first time they’ve worked together since “Burn After Reading,” but both actors also had small voice cameos in John Krasinski’s latest film, “If,” in which Clooney and Pitt both had small roles voicing animated characters.

“Wolves” is directed by Jon Watts, who has worked on all three “Spider-Man” films starring Tom Holland, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” as well as the latest installment in the superhero series, “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

Though the film hasn’t even hit theaters yet, Clooney has already expressed his excitement about potentially starring in a ‘Wolves’ sequel.

“We’re already in discussion about a sequel to this movie that Brad and I made. [Pitt] “Brad and Jon Watts were amazing to work with,” Clooney told Deadline magazine last year. “It was a great shoot. Jon is incredibly talented and so much fun. He loves what he does. I had a lot of fun making it and I’ve seen it. It’s a damn good movie and it’s been fun working with Brad again. We had a really good time.”
