Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the daughter of actor Brad Pitt and actress Angelina Jolie, is reportedly planning to drop “Pitt” from her last name now that she turns 18.
Shiloh, who turned 18 on Monday, filed paperwork to legally change her name from Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Jolie on her birthday, the documents said. Obtained From TMZ.
“So it seems like this was one of the first things she wanted to do when she became an adult,” the outlet noted.
Shiloh’s request to remove “Pitt” from her last name has not yet been granted, but TMZ noted that “it’s only a matter of time before it becomes official.”
Pitt and Jolie’s other biological child, 15-year-old daughter Vivienne, avoids calling him “Pitt” by his full name.
“Vivienne Jolie” was reportedly written in advertisements for Broadway musicals produced by her mother, and was also sometimes listed simply as “PA.”
Meanwhile, at least two of the actors’ adopted children, 22-year-old son Maddox and 19-year-old daughter Zahara, have also reportedly eschewed using “Pitt” as their surname.
