Cliff Booth Is Back for New Adventures

Brad Pitt is stepping back into the shoes of his character from “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” for the sequel, titled “The Adventures of the Cliff Booth.” Recently, he was spotted filming at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles, sporting a distinctive hairy blonde wig and a mustache.

At 61, Pitt embraced the retro vibe, donning a vintage yellow camping shirt over a white tee, paired with blue jeans. Earlier in the day, he arrived at the cinema in a more casual blue shirt and light blue jeans, marking the beginning of filming for the much-anticipated sequel.

The venue itself is owned by Quentin Tarantino, who directed the original film. He also wrote the screenplay for this sequel, which is being helmed by David Fincher.

In the original film, Pitt portrayed a stuntman working alongside the fictional actor Rick Dalton. The 1969-set story also featured a notable cast including Margot Robbie, Timothy Oliphant, and Al Pacino, among others. Pitt’s role earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor at the 2020 Oscars, and the film secured accolades for Best Production Design and was nominated for several other awards.

Pitt once remarked during his acceptance speech, “This is really about Quentin Tarantino. You’re original. You’re kind of one. The film industry will be a much drier place without you.” It’s clear that the collaboration and legacy of Tarantino’s work are incredibly important to him.

As for the sequel, reports suggest it will delve deeper into Pitt’s character as a Hollywood fixer. New cast members include Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Sources hint that this project is shrouded in secrecy, likening it to a “more secret than Star Wars” situation. Details about the release date for “The Adventures of Cliff Booth” remain under wraps, which adds to the buzz surrounding the film.
