University of Missouri quarterback Brady Cook’s fiancee sprayed champagne while celebrating with him when he signed with him as a draft free agent with the Jets over the weekend.
The couple stood on a diving board in the backyard pool area, and as they have seen ever since, the couple bubbly. A video posted on her Instagram story.
“Heading to the New York Baby!!! Let’s go to the Jets!” she wrote, including three green heart emojis.
At one point, Cook heard their friends and family cheer in the background, although not seen in the clip while he placed the Jets hat on Sheifel’s head.
Cook and Shifale, who were together since high school, got engaged to Central Park in March.
Schieferle graduated from the University of Missouri in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree, then spent an extra year at Mizzou, where she was accepted into the accelerated nursing program.
According to her Instagram, they have been together since at least 2017.

The Jets did not select a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft this weekend.
Instead, they chose Missouri offensive tackle Armand Membou, using the seventh pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Cook and his team played together for three seasons for Missouri.
Along with Cook, the Jets also signed Notre Dame Safety Jordan Clark, the son of former NFL safe and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark.
Cook will join the quarterback room along with starters Justin Fields and backup Tyrod Taylor and Jordan Travis.
The Jets struggled to find a future quarterback after a lousy two-year stint with veteran Aaron Rodgers.
The team announced in February that they would move on from Rogers.
