Savannah Blackstock Lee, the daughter of Brandon Blackstock, shared her exciting news about expecting a second child just a month before her father’s passing.
Brandon, who was the former talent manager and ex-husband of Kelly Clarkson, succumbed to melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer, at the age of 48, following a lengthy private struggle.
His eldest son, 23, announced the upcoming arrival of Savannah’s baby on her private Instagram on July 5, just weeks before Brandon’s untimely death.
“We’ve been holding on to some delightful surprises,” she shared. “A girl is due at the start of January, and her name is Juliana—she’s already one of our greatest blessings.”
“God has been incredibly faithful,” she added. “He’s crafted stories beyond our wildest dreams, and during this season, His kindness has truly touched our hearts. He answered prayers we didn’t even know how to articulate.”
Already a mother to her 3-year-old son Lake with her husband Quentin Lee, Savannah is looking forward to welcoming another daughter in January 2026.
“This journey is special—filled with peace, excitement, and countless blessings,” she said. “We’re expanding again, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.”
Brandon had two children with his ex-wife Melissa Ashworth: Savannah and her brother Seth, who’s now 19. They were married from 2001 until their divorce in 2012.
Later, Brandon found love with Clarkson. They were married from 2013 to 2022, but their relationship ended amid a contentious divorce involving disputes over finances, custody, and property.
This legal struggle finally concluded in March 2022, when a judge ordered that Brandon pay Clarkson $115,000 monthly in spousal support until January 2024, alongside $45,600 in child support each month.
Brandon’s passing was reported on Thursday, shortly after Clarkson canceled her remaining Las Vegas residency shows for August.
“It’s very tragic to announce that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. He courageously battled cancer for over three years,” his family stated in a message provided to the Post.
“He left this world surrounded by family in peace. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers and kindly ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time.”
