Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham on the Transformative Power of Worship

Brandon Lake vividly remembers the night a group of arena security guards accepted Christ during his Summer Worship Night tour with Phil Wickham.

It was 2023, the first year of the tour, and in the final moments of the concert, the singers were onstage asking the audience to raise their hands if they wanted to “start a relationship with Jesus or rededicate their lives,” Lake said. Suddenly, Lake noticed a commotion in the audience to his left.

“What happened was we said, ‘Raise your hand if you want to say yes to Jesus,’ and apparently the whole line of security guards raised their hands,” Lake told Christian Headlines.

Christians in the audience surrounded the guards, helping them take the next step on their spiritual journey.

“A lot of the believers who were there that night ran forward and blessed with the guards,” he added. “It was really amazing, because that’s why we do this – not to entertain, but to see people encounter God.”

Tickets went on sale on March 22nd. 2024 Summer Worship Night TourThe show will take place in 17 cities and will once again feature Lake and Wickham, with special guest appearance by Halvey.
