Late-Night Brawl at Domino’s in Glassboro
A late-night fight at a Domino’s Pizza in Glassboro, New Jersey, turned chaotic last weekend, leading to two men allegedly attacking a police officer, according to local authorities.
Police were summoned to the restaurant just before 3 a.m. on Saturday due to reports of a large altercation. As they attempted to make arrests, two suspects picked up a chair and threw it at one officer, striking him in the back of the head. Witnesses noted that the men appeared to be quite frantic while leaving the scene.
Surveillance footage from inside the pizza place captured the disorder, showing customers in Halloween gear, people standing on tables, and several individuals recording the scene with their phones. At one moment, two men were seen tossing a red chair out of the frame amid the rising tension.
The Glassboro Police Department reported, “At around 2:44 a.m., officers responded to a large fight inside the Domino’s.” They described how, while police were making various arrests, two men—identified by the surveillance video as one wearing a gray jacket and the other in a light blue sweatshirt—threw the chairs at the officers. Authorities stated that it seemed clear the actions were intentional and noted the suspects’ state of panic when fleeing.
Photos of the two suspects have been released, and law enforcement is seeking public assistance in identifying them. Anyone with information is encouraged to reach out to the Glassboro Police Department through their anonymous tip line or by contacting Detective Aitken via text or email.
