Breanna Stewart’s Unrivaled struggles now have a possible explanation

Brenna Stewart At least it wasn't her standard. Twice WNBA The MVP averaged 19.1 points and 11 rebounds per game, becoming the league's sixth leading scorer and third leading rebounder, but her efficiency fell, with Mist Club finishing with a 5-9 record and missing the playoffs.

Stewart, one of the two co-founders of the new professional women's basketball 3-to-3 league, was also eliminated in the first round of the 1V1 tournament. She fell 12-0 to Washington mystic Rookie Aaliyah Edwards.

Now there is a possible explanation for the 30-year-old's uncharacteristic struggle.

Breanna Stewart won knee range on Thursday

According to ESPN's Alexa Philippou, Stewart “successfully completed minor range with her right meniscus” on Thursday. Philippou reported that Stewart will return to the court in time for WNBA training camp, with each team's source. Knee Range is a minimally invasive surgical procedure in which the surgeon uses a thin illuminated tube to display and treat problems within the knee joint.

It appears Stewart waited until the end of an unparalleled season before receiving scope. Also, considering that training camp will begin in just over six weeks on April 27th, the recovery timeline is pretty quick.

Breanna Stewart wasn't another shocking self of the season

Stewart was still one of the league's outstanding players, but he shot under 50% off the field in nine of his 14 contests with Mist Club, with only 23 points twice. She was also not named to the full-length first or second team (Napheesa Collier, Chelsea Grayand Kayla McBride was selected for the first team, with Angel Reese, Line Howard and Skyler Diggins Smith being selected for the second team).

With an average of 19.1 points and 11 rebounds, Stewart has still made Stewart for one of the league's more productive players, given the fact that he averages 19.1 points and 11 rebounds, given the fact that he generally dominates the conversation of the WNBA MVP, but the fact that she wasn't part of the all-rival honour mix reflects the cancellation of his performance this winter.

And while it is always possible that her struggle could be simply the result of a slump in the shooting, Stewart reports that when she received a knee scope, it appears to reflect that she is dealing with some kind of knee issue. The Liberty Star has no known history of knee problems, but he underwent surgery in 2019 to repair a torn Achilles.

The good news for Brenna Stewart is that she should return in time for the beginning of Liberty's title defense. And she can sit down and watch Unralive's postseason, starting with the comfort of her home on Sunday, March 16th.
