Brett Favre Praises Trump, Vance After Confrontation with Zelensky: ‘Standing Up for America’

Former Green Bay Packer Brett Fabre said it was “unrealistic” to see Ukrainian leader Voldymee Zelensky speaking rudely to President Trump in his oval office on Friday.

Still, he thanked Trump and Vance for “stopping for America.”

The ordinary oval office meeting with foreign leaders took an oddly decisive turn after Zelensky made after Vice President Vance, after seemingly harmless comments about pursuing diplomacy to end the Ukraine-Russian war, as former President Joe Biden failed. Things quickly derailed from there as Zelensky constantly interrupted Trump and Vance while making critical mistakes by saying that the US would soon feel the effects of the war.

By the end of the conversation, both Trump and Vance called the visiting Ukrainian head of state “disrespectful,” and Trump told Zelensky to leave.

Favre posted a clip of Exchange in the caption. “This was a bit unrealistic to watch. Foreign leaders talking to the US president sitting like this. I'm happy @RealdonaldTrump & @jdvance standing in America.”

Many shared and agreed to Favre's observations.

Since the argument, Trump has said he can return after Zelensky promised that he wanted peace. At the same time, European leaders almost unanimously supported the Ukrainian leader and criticised Trump. It is not clear exactly where the story of peace is now.
