Brian Austin Green speaks out about hidden '90s relationship with Tichina Arnold.

Brian Austin Green has spoken for the first time about his past romance with Tichina Arnold, the star of “Martin.” On the podcast “Funny Knowing You,” Green, who is 52, shared that he and Arnold, now 56, grew close while working together in the 90s.

At that time, Green was heavily immersed in hip-hop culture, often frequenting clubs and events. He noted, “You usually date people within your circle.” So, naturally, his relationships predominantly involved Black women due to their shared interests.

But things became tense when Arnold insisted on keeping their relationship a secret. Green recalled feeling “uneasy” about this situation, reflecting on his early 20s, a time when he felt out of place in a culture that didn’t fully accept him. He noted that hearing Arnold say, “Don’t tell anyone,” triggered feelings of unworthiness and insecurity.

Arnold was straightforward about wanting privacy in their relationship, which pressed on Green’s feelings. He mentioned, “While she seemed cool with it all later on, I subconsciously switched off the idea of us being a true couple.”

In the present day, Green emphasized his continued support for Arnold, stating, “That’s my girlfriend. I always root for her, and she roots for me too.” This revelation comes about a month after Arnold had discussed their past relationship on the same podcast, calling Green a “really nice person” but highlighting that she ultimately was the one to end things.

Arnold explained her reasons for breaking up, mentioning that she felt like a “dead end” since Green often dated Black women but seemed to shift towards dating white women. She humorously remarked, “The ending is really good,” adding that “everyone hated Chris,” referring to the early moments of their relationship that didn’t progress far.

Despite having shared a wonderful experience, Arnold shared predictions about Green’s future, suggesting he might eventually end up with someone white. She added, “I’m attracted to Black men; it’s just my natural inclination.”

Green, now a father to children from his relationships with Vanessa Marcil, Megan Fox, and fiancée Sharna Burgess, continues to navigate his personal life while reflecting on his past. Arnold also has had her own marriages, including Ramon Brewster from 1991 to 1995 and Dalico Hines from 2012 to 2016.
