Brian Barnes was sacked by Lamar Jackson in the first quarter for a loss of 10 yards, which was no easy feat and certainly felt good for Barnes.
What happened to Barnes in the second quarter wasn't much better.
Jackson did his typical thing by scrambling up the field and letting Barnes give chase.
With the Giants' outside linebackers looking one-sided, offensive lineman Daniel Faalele lined up Barnes for a blindside hit.
Because Faalele is 6 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 380 pounds, Burns had to leave the field but did not play in the game to finish Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Ravens at MetLife Stadium. was able to return to.
Jackson scrambled 21 yards on the play, but Barnes was ejected with an injury.
“He lined me up,” Burns said. “I focused on Lamar because Lamar was trying to get out, but he kind of blindsided me. That's football. If he wanted to, I could I think I could have hit it harder because I wasn't looking. I still felt it.”
Barnes also suffered a “pretty bad” ankle injury on another play.
“But there’s nothing crazy,” he said.
In the fourth quarter, rookie WR Malik Nabors dove in the end zone with cornerback Desmond King for a 23-yard scoring pass.

It was Neighbors' fourth touchdown catch of the season and his first since Week 3, when he had two receiving touchdowns in the win at Cleveland.
“It was a good day to get back in the box,” Nabors said.
The nine consecutive losses are tied for a franchise record.
The 1976 and 2019 teams lost nine straight, and the nine-game losing streak spanned the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
WR Wan Dale Robinson was checked out with a possible concussion in the fourth quarter and was cleared to return to the game.
“They found me and I was like, 'Okay,'” Robinson said. “I didn't know why they stopped me, but I went in and passed all the tests. ” he said.
Ravens tight end Mark Andrews became the Ravens' all-time touchdown leader with a 13-yard scoring reception in the first quarter.
It was Andrews' 48th career touchdown for the Ravens, one more than running back Jamal Lewis.
Deonte Banks missed his third straight game with a rib injury.
This meant the Giants were without their top three cornerbacks as starters Jrue Phillips and Cordale Flotte missed the game with injuries.
The defense was without two other starters, ILB Bobby Okereke and DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches.
The Ravens (9-5) overcame the bye and routed the Giants without issue.
“You could tell they wanted to get back on track,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. “They took the Giants seriously. The Giants are a serious football team and it's a really good win for us.”
