Brian Charahan, a head coach in Tennessee, seems to have some high expectations for Shedu Sanders.
Last week, Sanders met several members of Titan staff, including Charahan and newly hired general manager Mike Borgonggwong.
Titan, who holds the first general pick in the draft, is looking for a quarterback that could be a franchise's future face.
“”[Callahan]”Very smart and detailed” Borgon told ESPN. “He's around, some pretty good things -Paton Manning, Joe Barou, Matthew Stafford. I think it's helpful around such a player. Ettera, etc. in terms of looking down.
Both Charahan and Borgon have succeeded in finding a franchise quarterback in the previous position.
As a Bengal General Manager, Charahan has drafted Joe Baro in 2020, and Borgon served as a director of the Chiefs player in Patrick Mahomes draft.
Charahan explained the specific qualities he was looking for in the quarterback learned from the coach of the veteran quarterback coach, part of the coaching staff of Broncos from 2013 to 2015.
“”[Knapp] I always said three things: decision -making, timing, and accuracy, “said Charan. “These three things will always be the first thing you are looking for. If you're looking for them, you'll see a lot of good quarter backing.”
Charahan also mentioned how they look at some of the characteristics of Sanders Baro.
“People generally asked about the fact that Baro's arms would come out,” said Charahan. “It's one of the unique things that makes Joe unique, and you probably can put Shedde in the same conversation … they expect them to have timing and accuracy on it. It supplements the strength of the arm.
Sanders finished the senior season as a conference leader in the Colorado season and touch -down, and gained the honor of the aggressive player of the ear.
Sanders consistently found himself Top 10 draft ranking As an outlook for the second quarter back behind Miami's Camward, who won the honor of the player of the Year at the ACC.
