Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys has announced that his wife Melinda has passed away. The late music legend said he and his wife were married for 28 years.
He described her as a “savior” and “anchor.”
“My heart is broken. My beloved wife of 28 years, Melinda, passed away this morning. Our five children and I are just in tears. We are at a loss. Melinda She was more than my wife. She was my savior. She gave me life.” “I needed a career. I needed emotional stability. She encouraged me to make music that was closest to my heart. She was my rock. She meant everything to us. Please keep her in your prayers,” Wilson wrote on Instagram. He spoke at post.

Wilson’s post also included statements apparently from her children.
“It is with great sadness that we inform you that our mother, Melinda Kay Ledbetter Wilson, passed away peacefully at home this morning. She was a force of nature and one of the strongest women on earth. She was more than just a strong woman.” A model, father’s savior, and mother, she had a mission to make everyone she touched better. She was a woman empowered by spirit. We will miss her, but we will cherish everything she taught us. “What she expects in return, how to find her beauty in the darkest places, and how to live life as her authentic self with honesty and pride,” her statement reads. “We love you Mom. Please give our love to Grandma Rose and Dad.”
Wilson was previously married to Marilyn Wilson-Rutherford, but the marriage ended in divorce. varietyit is stated that the couple had two children.
