Brianna “Chicken Fry” LaPaglia didn’t hold back after her ex, Zach Bryan, recently tied the knot with Samantha Leonard. The Barstool Media personality, who’s 26, posted a TikTok on Friday where she lip-synced to Taylor Swift’s “Mastermind,” which got her fans buzzing in the comments.
In the video, LaPaglia sings the lyrics, “Checkmate, I can’t afford to lose,” and it seems her followers resonated with the sentiment. One viewer remarked, “Bri is safe from the worst decision ever 📍,” while another commented, “You dodged a bullet. You definitely won, girl!”
Another commenter noted, “Everything you’ve done is shining. And he’s still trying to get to you. You ran away, checkmate, you were never meant to lose.” Someone else cleverly added, “You can copy the recipe, but the taste of the sauce will not change.”
This TikTok drop comes on the heels of LaPaglia’s boss, Dave Portnoy, publicly supporting her, even humorously suggesting that Bryan should propose to LaPaglia instead.
Portnoy also mentioned that there’s no way Leonard isn’t a “Brianna robot” due to their striking resemblance. He expressed his surprise regarding Bryan’s new relationship during an August episode of his podcast, likening the two women and questioning how such similarities could exist.
Her relationship with Bryan spanned from 2023 to 2024. Following their split, LaPaglia accused him of emotional abuse and claimed he offered her $12 million to keep quiet about their relationship, which she turned down, calling it “blood money.”
Portnoy lightheartedly quipped that Bryan must have “gone to the lab and created Brianna 2.0.”
