South Florida Influencer Killed in Shooting

A well-known influencer from South Florida was tragically shot early on Sunday morning, according to authorities. Brianna Johnson, who was just 21 and active on Instagram under the name “dreamdoll_brii,” was inside a lime green luxury SUV with two others when the incident occurred, as reported by the Miramar Police Department.

The incident took place around 5:30 a.m., not long after Independence Day, and it appears to have been captured on surveillance footage. Johnson was recognized for her lifestyle and beauty posts, boasting around 500,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram. Her TikTok account, _itgirlbri, has approximately 388,000 followers, while her Instagram has about 88,800 followers.

According to the police, Johnson was driving her Lamborghini Urus when another SUV entered the intersection. A white sedan then crashed into the driver’s side and began shooting, hitting the three passengers inside. Local broadcaster WSVN reported that surveillance footage shows a light-colored sedan seemingly following Johnson’s Lamborghini before the shooting took place.

In the chaotic aftermath, witnesses observed her Lamborghini weaving through the intersection while the suspect’s vehicle fled, crashing into a nearby house. Police were alerted to the shooting through multiple ShotSpotter notifications in the area.

Miramar Police Chief Dellish Moss indicated that the gunfire was rapid, and social media videos showed multiple bullet holes in the Lamborghini’s door.

Reports also state that the victims had attended a large gathering at a nearby residence before stopping at a gas station, where an altercation erupted. Authorities believe that Johnson’s luxury SUV was specifically targeted and followed.

Sadly, Johnson succumbed to her injuries, while the identities of the two other victims have not yet been revealed. They were rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

Family members and fans have expressed their grief online, with a woman claiming to be Johnson’s cousin sharing heartfelt messages on Instagram. Many supporters have been posting condolences on her social media profiles.
