‘Bringing Up Bates’ Star Erin Bates Transferred to Different Hospital for Recovery

Recovery Update on Erin Bates

Erin Bates, who faced sepsis after the birth of her son, Henry Blythe, on August 25, has been transferred to a different hospital as she continues to recover from this serious condition. Initially, Bates battled a kidney infection in the intensive care unit and also experienced seizures. Thankfully, her situation has improved.

Her husband, Chad Payne, shared updates about her health on September 9 via Instagram, pairing his message with Travis Clark’s song “Thanks.” He encouraged their followers to keep her in their prayers.

“Recovery is neither fast nor easy, but we are deeply grateful for all the small steps ahead,” he expressed. “Watching Erin endure such pain breaks my heart, yet her ability to uplift her spirit and show kindness amid suffering is inspiring to everyone around her.”

Chad mentioned that Erin was moved to a new facility where a dedicated team of doctors is working to aid in her recovery, which he noted had happened on September 8. He expressed appreciation for the nurses, saying, “They were incredibly caring and have felt like family to us.” He also conveyed their longing for their children, stating, “We miss our babies more than words can say, and we are truly grateful for every message and act of kindness during this tough time.”

He added a heartfelt note to friends, family, and fans saying, “Your love is carrying us.”

Erin Bates gained recognition through a family-oriented reality show showcasing her life built on faith and family values.

It’s reassuring to hear that she’s making progress, though recovery can be such a slow and unpredictable journey.
