Angry supporters of Donald Trump hurled vicious abuse at a British couple visiting the former president’s “hush money” trial, with angry crowds chanting “Fuck the King” and “Have your tea and get out of my park!”
Footage from Wednesday showed a British woman being amused by some of the people gathered outside the courthouse where the jury was deliberating, who told her to “fuck the king” and “we hate you here, you filthy, f**king liberal bastard.”
“It’s terrible, it’s terrible, right?” the British woman commented as she was led away by police from the courthouse and an angry mob.
“What disgusting people.”
The two Britons were chatting with Americans outside the court, where jurors were deliberating for a second day in the historic trial against President Trump.
“Actually, we’re here purely for entertainment purposes. We’re from the UK,” she told the camera, as the man she was with began to escort her away from the chaotic scene.
A woman wearing a Trump hat and an American flag shirt and holding an American flag can be seen following the pair, yelling and wagging her finger at the British woman.
“Fuck you, f*** you,” the American woman yells, and a police officer steps in, stopping her and telling her to stop.
“Get outta here. Burn in hell you liberal bastard!” an angry Trump supporter shouted from behind the officer, before walking away.
Just outside the park, an amused British woman tells the camera, “We like watching Trump on TV…” before being interrupted by the man she is with and led away from the scene of madness.
Jurors deliberated for a second day in the case against the former president on Thursday.
Trump is charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with the $130,000 “hush money” paid by his former lawyer Michael Cohen to porn actress Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.
He denied all wrongdoing.
