Kevin Federline’s Revelations About Britney Spears
In a surprising turn of events, Kevin Federline shared claims in his memoir, ”I Thought I Knew,” alleging that his ex-wife, Britney Spears, snorted cocaine while breastfeeding their child.
Federline detailed a particularly intense moment in the book, stating that he confronted Spears about her drug use, which sparked a significant argument that played a part in their divorce. He recounted seeing her unexpectedly at a 2006 release party for “Playing with Fire,” where she was reportedly drinking something that looked suspicious.
He recalled Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, being present, and his reaction was telling—an expression that seemed to communicate discomfort about the situation. Federline mentioned, “The first thing I saw was Britney and her young star athlete friend smoking fat cokes from the table.” He painted an unusual scene, noting their striking wigs, and, well, it was a bit surreal, to say the least.
In the memoir, Federline expressed his shock at the idea of Spears using substances while caring for their young children, who were only 13 months and 1 month old at that time. The situation escalated to the point where he found himself pleading with her, urging her not to return home to breastfeed. “Please call your mom or someone,” he recalled saying, “I need to get formula. I can’t do that.”
He even reported an incident where Spears allegedly threw a drink at him during this tumultuous period, marking it, in his eyes, as the final straw. “That’s what ended us,” he reflected.
