Britney Spears Addresses Family on Social Media

It seems Britney Spears is at it again. After enjoying Christmas with her son Jaden, who’s 19, she took to social media to express her feelings about her family.

She wrote a sarcastic message: “A late Christmas to my beautiful family, who have never disrespected me, who have never hurt me…” The post came with a photo that, interestingly, appeared to be taken by her own Christmas tree on that Sunday.

She added, “Dear, innocent and loving family… I’m so sorry that this Christmas has been so busy, but I’ll definitely show up soon and surprise you… I can’t wait…”

In a touching note, she specifically addressed Jamie Lynn Spears’ 7-year-old daughter, saying, “Hello beautiful Ivy… I just want to hug you, my love… Godspeed, friends.”

Though her message had a sharp tone regarding her family, Britney reportedly spent Christmas Day with her youngest son, Jaden, who is with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Sources said they had an “amazing” time, even though her older son Sean Preston wasn’t able to join due to work.

Sean, now 20, made time to be with the “Sweet Magnolia” star in Louisiana. Meanwhile, he spent the holiday with Jamie Lynn and their family.

On December 25, Jamie Lynn shared a group picture on Instagram that included her kids, their grandmother Lynne Spears, and others.

Britney had Sean Preston and Jaden with Federline during their marriage from 2004 to 2007. After she lost custody of them in 2008 due to various personal issues, including erratic behavior and substance abuse, the boys publicly distanced themselves. In 2022, they accused her of causing “emotional trauma.”

Following that, they moved to Hawaii with their father and his wife, Victoria Prince.

Despite the distance, Jaden recently started reconnecting with Britney, although he still has mixed feelings about their relationship, which is slowly mending. A source mentioned that seeing them reunite gave Britney hope for their future as she feels more complete now.

On the family front, Britney has been estranged from her family ever since her conservatorship concluded in 2021. Her relationship with her father, Jamie Spears, remains “non-existent,” while those with her mother and sister are described as “fragile.” However, she has kept a close bond with her brother Brian and one of her cousins.
