A home in Indiana, connected to former teacher Brittany Fortinberry, has reportedly been put on the market. She’s facing serious allegations, including having a teenager wear a “screaming” mask during inappropriate encounters.
Fortinberry’s husband, Nicholas, has initiated divorce proceedings against the 31-year-old educator, as reported.
Court documents reveal that law enforcement discovered disturbing evidence at their residence last year, including stripper poles and adult toys, alongside evidence of sexual misconduct involving underage individuals.
Nicholas filed for divorce in February, citing financial strains. The couple had been relying on monthly benefits from the U.S. Veterans Affairs Bureau to manage their bills, but the documents indicate this source of income was reportedly in jeopardy.
The judge has recently permitted Nicholas to list their property, but details regarding its expected sale price remain unclear.
Fortinberry faces a staggering 41 felony charges linked to sexual offenses involving at least six 13-year-old students, which, if convicted, could lead to a lengthy prison sentence.
Allegations suggest that she interacted with these minors at two different schools, reportedly introducing them to alcohol and psychedelic substances before engaging in sexual activities.
On some occasions, children were present during alleged incidents, revealing the disturbing nature of the accusations.
Fortinberry has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently held at the Morgan County Jail, awaiting a trial meeting scheduled for August.
Prosecutors noted that one of her alleged victims was a teenager whom she employed to babysit.
It’s claimed that Fortinberry paid boys between $100 and $800 for explicit photos, with her also allegedly sending nude images of herself.
Reports suggest that she would threaten suicide if a victim spoke about the abuse.
