Mother and daughter stood safely on a balcony overlooking the scene. In the background, another child can be heard screaming in terror as his mother tries to calm him down.

Black vultures have begun migrating further north into the Cass County area this summer, according to the county's local newspaper. Tribune TimesThe “highly aggressive” black vultures are known to prey on newborn calves and lambs, causing problems for local farmers, the newspaper reported last month.

Now they are encroaching on the county's most important Mahomes family property, desecrating the grounds they built from the ground up.

Ominously, these black bird wildlife incursions came just days after the Chiefs' win over the Baltimore Ravens, denying Mahomes a chance to avenge last year's loss in the AFC Championship Game.

Now Mahomes will have to deal with those birds while preparing for the Chiefs' big game on Sunday against Joe Burrow and the rival Cincinnati Bengals, as Kansas City remains unbeaten following a Week 1 win and seeks to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

During an interview with Logan Paul on the “Impaulsive” podcast, Mahomes reaffirmed his belief that the Chiefs will achieve that goal again and said that's the expectation for his quarterback this year.

“Next year in New Orleans, we're going to do it again,” Mahomes declared. “Leave it on the table. We're going to do it again. I'm telling you right now.”

Not only that, Mahomes and the Chiefs offense may have to pull off a historic campaign while also implementing plays designed by Taylor Swift. The quarterback has been dating Mahomes' teammate Travis Kelce since last season, Swift previously said in an interview, Interview with NBC's Chris Simms, And the team said, “We might have to put one in.”
