The stage is set for the 2024 Super Bowl, and Brittany Mahomes is ready for kickoff in Las Vegas.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife posted to her Instagram Stories on Sunday a video of Allegiant Stadium, where Kansas City will face the San Francisco 49ers for the championship next Sunday.
Brittany’s post came the day before Super Bowl Opening Night, when members of both teams gather at Allegiant Stadium for the annual media event.
Mahomes, 28, is aiming for his third Super Bowl ring in five seasons with the Chiefs.
The six-time Pro Bowler earned his first win in February 2020 when the Chiefs defeated the 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
Last February, the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona, winning their second championship.
Brittany, who married Mahomes in March 2022, has supported the Chiefs on the road throughout the postseason, including last Sunday’s AFC Championship victory over the Ravens in Baltimore.
“So proud,” Brittany, 28, wrote on Instagram after the Chiefs won 17-10.
The mother-of-two also posted a photo of herself with new friend Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“LVIII” With Brittany’s caption Another slideshow on Instagram featured the duo donning conference championship hats at M&T Bank Stadium.
But Sunday’s championship wasn’t without drama, with some social media users accusing Brittany of being rude to stadium workers.
In a postgame video shared on the NFL’s CBS TikTok page, Brittany could be seen asking a staff member, “Where do we go from here?” She rotated her fingers in a circular motion.
Brittany appeared to address the fallout in a cryptic Instagram post on Wednesday.
“I take rumors as compliments,” the quote reads. “The fact that you bring my name to a table where I’m not sitting shows your obsession. Never mind.”
On Saturday, about a week before kickoff, the Mahomes family was embroiled in a new controversy days after Patrick Mahomes Sr. was arrested in Texas on charges of third or greater DUI.
The 2024 Super Bowl begins on February 11th at 6:30pm ET.
