NFL quarterback Brock Purdy had no hesitation in who he thanked first during his monumental comeback against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game.
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback led his team back from a 17-point deficit and ultimately won the game. 34-31 Barnburner advances to the Super Bowl.

“We just led the biggest comeback in NFC Championship Game history. What was the key to that incredible comeback?” Strahan asked.
“First of all, glory be to God. He gave us this opportunity, man,” Purdy began. “For us, this is a team sport. We knew we had a half left. Our defense did their job, our offensive players did their job.”
“The coach played a great game. We had loyal players supporting us until the end. That’s why we love you all,” the 24-year-old said.

“Honestly, I think it’s a testament to God and where God has taken me in life,” he responded. “I feel like I’ve always had to fight for what I got and work for what I got.
