Monday morning, denver broncos has released a two-minute video revealing the updated uniforms the team will wear starting in the 2024 season. After a ton of B-roll focusing on the Colorado wilderness and a clip of a horse galloping alongside a Ford Bronco (a little on the nose, right?), the video culminates into a final dramatic twist. I rushed in.
For those who don’t want to wait to watch the video above in its entirety, it clearly shows the entire kit with three different tops, three different bottoms, and both a navy and white helmet.
If your first reaction to a new thread is something along the lines of, “This looks familiar…” you’re not alone. Right off the bat, these look too similar to the uniforms of many college programs, including Virginia, UTSA, UTEP, and Syracuse. Well, if you look at it from the right angle, you can even get a feel of the Blue Mountain State. Shortly after the drop, the internet shared instant reactions and it did not disappoint.
Here are just some of the things that have been said so far.

In addition to the obvious similarities mentioned above, these don’t seem like “pro soccer teams” to me. If it wasn’t for the Broncos logo on their helmets, I would have no idea what level of football I was watching. The “crest” on the shoulder is no different from the bolts found on the shoulder. charger” jersey and “5280” on the forehead are too lame. In my opinion, that’s an order of magnitude too many.
Finally, the decision to remove the helmet stripes is very confusing. Now it’s just a solid colored helmet with little to no life or energy. I just don’t understand. The more contrast, the more “pop” it will make. I couldn’t imagine trying to live a life of looking good and feeling good. Let’s have a good mood and have a good play.”
But after all this, the Broncos managed to bounce back Several We paid homage by unveiling a new throwback jersey based on the 1977 kit.
Now these should be their new home uniforms. We don’t know how many times they end up wearing them each season, but most throwback uniforms only see the light of day once or twice a year. That’s a travesty considering how nice these are compared to the main kit.
The Broncos didn’t have the difficult task of redesigning at all. They had to take all the inspiration from the uniforms of the most popular teams in franchise history and build a kit around it.
It’s simple, but this is how it turned out in the end. It was a bad day for Broncos Country.
