When asked by Turning Point USA what he thought about Trump being there, he replied, “I think it’s great.”

“I think it’s amazing. From my generation’s perspective, [this] This is the first time the president has actually been there. There was a lot of enthusiasm at Trump’s rally on Thursday, and ahead of it Fox News spoke to Bronx residents, some of whom acknowledged that life was better under Trump than it had been under Biden.

Throughout the rally, the crowd chanted “We love Trump!”, “Four more years!” and “Build the wall!”

“But above all else, New Yorkers have common sense, we have common sense. Old-fashioned American common sense is what I want to bring back to the White House and what we’ve had for the last four years,” Trump said, calling his time in the White House “the greatest four years in the history of our country.”

Trump also spoke about how Biden’s policies are harming Americans around the world, focusing in particular on the impact on Black and Hispanic Americans.

He said:

African-Americans’ real incomes are down 5.6 percent. African-Americans are being slaughtered. Hispanic-Americans are being slaughtered. And the biggest impact, the biggest negative impact on the millions of people who are coming into this country is on black and Hispanic people. They lose their jobs, they lose their homes, they lose everything… they can lose it.

“They are the ones most affected by what’s going on, not just because they can’t access their schools, parks and hospitals,” he continued, as the crowd began chanting, “Build the wall!”
