Brooke Hogan, daughter of the late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, expressed her anger on Instagram regarding the $5.9 million sale of her father’s home in Clearwater, Florida. Her father, whose real name was Terry Bollea, passed away from a heart attack at the age of 71 in July 2025.
In her post, Brooke shared a picture of the house with a “sold” sign visible. “Enjoy your dirty money,” she wrote, adding, “You took my dad.” It’s not clear who exactly she is directing this message toward.
Brooke, who is 38, noted that she and Hulk’s second ex-wife, Jennifer McDaniel, had been part of the “nurse crew” caring for him. McDaniel was married to Hulk from 2010 until their divorce in 2021.
She reflected on the emotional connection the home held, stating, “The sick feeling is indescribable. This house was where dad and Jen envisioned growing old together. Where we brought him back to… surgery after surgery. Pool days. The smell of gasoline in the garage. His workouts downstairs.”
Brooke recounted cherished memories, from cooking and watching shows like Jerry Springer to spending quiet hours with her dad in the chair where he passed away. “His whole environment, his energy,” she wrote, seems to have been swept away. “Sold for profit. Just like him… used for f–king everyone else’s gain. Saddest ending I’ve ever seen.”
In her message, she emphasized her dedication over the years, stating that she tracked all of Hulk’s medications and was there for him even as others entered his life. She shared past photos of them together and also acknowledged Jennifer, saying, “This woman spent more time in the trenches than ANY of us did.” Brooke affirmed that Jennifer loved Hulk and cared for him until the end, despite facing trauma herself.
While Brooke had requested to be excluded from Hulk’s will, she praised Jennifer’s quiet strength after their separation. “Their breakup was devastating for me. I loved her, but I knew my dad was in the best care with her,” she noted.
Confronted with criticism about her decision to distance herself from what she termed “toxic behavior,” Brooke stated, “NO. They were there AT the end. To collect.”
Hulk married Jennifer in December 2010, and their divorce was finalized in October 2021. He announced their split via a post in February 2022. Just recently, in September 2023, Hulk tied the knot with Sky Daily.
Hulk Hogan’s death was ruled natural by the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, which reported that he had leukemia and atrial fibrillation.
